Okko Ramen has closed its doors for good. The restaurant, which opened on January 17, 2018, next to New Lucky China near the Highlands Plaza Publix shopping center, served its last bowl of ramen on Sunday, June 16, 2024. The owners have announced that an Indian fusion restaurant called Tandoor Tavern will be taking its place.

Dear Valued Customers,
It is with a bittersweet heart that I reach out to you today. After eight incredible years of serving our community, I have made the difficult decision to close the doors of Okko Ramen. While this decision did not come easily, I am filled with gratitude for the journey we have shared together.
I am excited to announce that we have found a new owner for our space who will be continuing the tradition of delicious cuisine and warm hospitality. Indian Fusion, a beloved Indian restaurant, will be taking over our location. Although it is hard to say goodbye, I am confident that they will bring new flavors and experiences for you to enjoy.
I want to take this opportunity to express my deepest appreciation to each and every one of you for your unwavering support throughout the years. Your loyalty, kindness, and smiles have been the heartbeat of our restaurant, and I am truly grateful for the memories we have created together.
From family gatherings to celebrations, from quiet dinners to bustling lunch rushes, I will forever cherish the moments we’ve shared within these walls. Your patronage has not only sustained us but has also enriched our lives in ways words cannot express.
As we transition to this new chapter, I encourage you to extend the same warm welcome and support to Indian Spice as you have shown to us. I have no doubt that they will embrace you with open arms and continue the legacy of exceptional dining
experiences in our community.
While may not be your go-to for Asian cuisine anymore. please know that the friendships we’ve formed and the connections we’ve made will always remain dear to me. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for allowing me ta be a part of your lives
